Voting membership is open to individuals who have professional theatre experience and can demonstrate their qualifications to vote.

Submit
Prospective members begin by submitting an application for voting membership.

Applicants are asked to provide:

A brief overview of their theatre experience or engagement

Supporting documentation demonstrating attendance at professional theatre productions

This information helps ensure that the voting body reflects informed, engaged perspectives.

Review/Approval
All applications are reviewed by the membership committee.

During this process, the committee:

Verifies submitted documentation

Confirms eligibility and theatre engagement

Ensures applicants meet the standards required for impartial, informed voting
Approved applicants are then asked to pay the $75 annual membership fee, which supports the continued operation and integrity of the awards.
Once confirmed, members are officially eligible to participate in the voting process.

Vote
Voting members participate in the awards process by evaluating eligible productions throughout the season.

For each production a member votes on, documentation of attendance is required. This may include:

Ticket stubs or digital confirmations

Programs or playbills

Other verifiable proof of attendance

This ensures that all votes are informed by firsthand experience and helps maintain fairness and credibility across the awards process.
